Our take
I've been using the Inpulse 500 and it's a solid mid-range controller. The 16 pads are great for triggering samples and hot cues. The 3-band EQ on each channel gives precise control, and the mic input is handy for MCing. The built-in audio interface works flawlessly with Serato DJ Lite. My gripes: the plastic body feels a bit cheap for the price, and the software upgrade to full Serato is extra. For $350, it delivers good value, but the build could be sturdier.
