Our take
I took the Starlight Mix on a trip and it was perfect for practicing in the hotel room. It's lightweight and USB-powered, so no bulky power supply needed. The built-in sound card and mixer save space, and the RGB pads add a bit of flair. However, with only 4 pads per deck, you're limited on hot cues and samples. The jog wheels are small and not motorized, so scratching is tricky. Also, the plastic construction feels a bit fragile. Still, for $100, it's a capable little controller for learning.
